This guy cleans up pretty well

You won’t feel the need to take a shower after a set from nationally touring comedian Andrew Sleighter, who takes the stage at the Newport Performing Arts Center this Saturday, Aug. 15.

Known for his smart, clean comedy and sharp observational style rather than relying on shock value or vulgarity, Sleighter has become a familiar face on television with appearances on "Last Comic Standing," "Conan" and "The Late Late Show with James Corden." He has also released a comedy special with Dry Bar Comedy and written and performed sketch comedy for Comedy Central, including contributing to "Sports Show with Norm Macdonald."

Sleighter has performed at comedy clubs and colleges across the country and appeared at major comedy festivals including Bumbershoot, the Aspen Comedy Festival and the Johnny Carson Great American Comedy Festival. His relaxed stage presence and clever writing have earned him a reputation as one of the country's top clean comedians.
