É.T.É has Wednesday ETA in Lincoln City

Experience the sparkling spirit of Quebec, right here on the Oregon Coast, when the award-winning folk trio É.T.É takes the stage at the Lincoln City Cultural Center on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Wielding violin, cello, bouzouki, foot percussion and lush three-part harmonies, É.T.É breathes new life into traditional French-Canadian tunes — turning jigs and reels into cinematic soundscapes that pulse with joy. Their performances are part celebration, part dance party and part emotional journey through the musical roots of Québec.

With Élisabeth Moquin on fiddle, step dance and vocals, Thierry Clouette on bouzouki and vocals and Élisabeth Giroux on cello and vocals, the trio combines technical mastery with playful chemistry. Their connection on stage is contagious — a swirl of strings, movement and laughter that makes every show feel like a shared celebration.

Winners of Emerging Artist of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards, É.T.É has toured across North America and Europe, earning a devoted following for their originality, warmth and infectious groove. They just received the Création Aldor 2025 award at Composium, the signature event of the Festival Trad Montréal on August 31. This award recognizes the commitment and achievements of important figures in Quebec’s traditional culture scene. Their music is both deeply rooted and wildly imaginative — honoring the past while propelling it into the present.

“If you liked Bon Débarras or Le Vent du Nord, we think you’ll love É.T.É,” said Niki Price, director emeritus of the cultural center.

Regional beers, ciders and local wines and Judy’s fresh-baked cookies will be available for purchase.

Before the concert, in the halls of the center, guests can visit the Chessman Art Gallery, the new Brick Gallery and the Turkish Rug Gallery.

Wednesday’s show begins at 7 pm at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, located at 540 NE Hwy. 101. Table Seats are $42 for adults, $39 for seniors and $30 for students. Theatre-style seats are $37 for adults, $34 for seniors and $20 for students. For more information, go to lincolncity-culturalcenter.org or call 541-994-9994.
