Luminous retreat will leave you glowing
Celebrate the Spring Equinox with a day of movement, breathwork, sound healing and ritual at the Elevate & Embody retreat this Saturday, March 21, in Gleneden Beach.
Presented by Luminous Soul Center for Well-Being, the one-day retreat is designed to help participants align with the seasonal transition through a series of wellness experiences. The program includes somatic movement, body-based breathwork, energy healing practices, sacred sound healing, reflective journaling, ritual and a nourishing spring lunch.
The Spring Equinox marks the moment each year when day and night stand in equal balance — a turning point long associated with renewal and fresh beginnings. Across cultures, the equinox has been honored as a time to reflect on the lessons of winter and set intentions for the months ahead as light returns and the natural world begins to awaken.
“The equinox is a beautiful reminder that balance exists both in nature and within ourselves,” said Arielle Beauduy, one of the retreat facilitators. “It’s an opportunity to pause, listen to the body and consciously welcome the new energy of the season.”
The retreat brings together several practitioners offering different approaches to personal renewal and body awareness.
Andrea Alric, a Jungian life coach, intuitive bodyworker and breathwork facilitator, will guide participants through body-based breathwork designed to release stored emotions, regulate the nervous system and quiet the thinking mind.
A yoga teacher and sound healing practitioner, Beauduy will lead somatic yoga and embodied movement practices intended to release stagnant energy and support nervous system balance. Drawing from somatic movement and meridian-clearing techniques, the sessions focus on restoring energetic flow and strengthening awareness of the body.
Jaya Sarada, a soul guide, energy practitioner and minister, will offer heart-centered healing practices using kinesiology, also known as muscle testing, to help participants identify and release energetic blocks connected to past experiences.
Beauduy and Sarada will weave sound healing throughout the day by using crystal singing bowls, chimes and other instruments to encourage deep relaxation between sessions.
The retreat will also include a Spring Equinox ritual centered on fire and water, symbolizing release, transformation and the welcoming of new intentions.
Participants will be served a seasonal lunch prepared by Helen Bailey, a classically trained chef specializing in plant-based cuisine designed to support the body’s rhythms of renewal.
Saturday’s retreat begins at 10 am at the Marketplace at Salishan, located at 7755 N Hwy. 101 in Gleneden Beach. The fee is $244. Payment plan may be arranged and select partial work/trade positions might be available. For more information or to register, go to LuminousSoulCenter.com.
