College to host resource fair
A range of community resources will be on offer at the Oregon Coast Community College Newport campus for a Lincoln County resource fair on Tuesday, Oct.14.
Organization representation will include housing and food insecurity, mental and emotional health, physical health, childcare issues and flexible employment opportunities.
Participating organizations will include: Arcoíris Cultural Center, Central Willamette Credit Union, Family Promise of Lincoln County, Newport WorkSource, 2-11, Equus Workforce Solutions, ODHS, Charlie Health, BMO Bank, My Sisters’ Place, Newport Parks and Recreation Department, Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County, Intake Specialist and Job Coach, Northwest Coastal Housing, Lincoln County Health and Human Services, Tribal Services Specialist, Hearts With a Mission, Lincoln County Veterans Services, Samaritan House, Community Service Consortium, Pollywog, Newport Public Library, Behavioral Health, Angell Job Corp, Maternal Child and Family Health, Lincoln County Healthy Families CSC, Lincoln County School District, ArtFit Oregon and Coastal Healthcare.
The resource fair is intended to connect students and community members to local agencies and allow them to connect a face with the name of participating organizations.
