You couldn’t bare to miss this show
“The Voices Persist” by Eliot Sekuler
Membership has its privileges at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, especially for those who don’t just appreciate, but also create, works of art.
Enjoy the diverse creations at the annual Members Show, opening in the PJ Chessman Gallery this Friday, Sept. 5.
An opening reception will be held on Friday from 5 to 7 pm, offering visitors a chance to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and experience the gallery at its most vibrant.
This beloved tradition showcases the extraordinary creativity of the center’s members, who are invited to share two pieces of original artwork for display in the gallery.
“The Members Show is always a joyful reminder of the talent and passion within our community,” said Visual Arts Director Krista Eddy. “With each artist presenting two works, the
2025 show promises to be especially dynamic and diverse.”
For the 2025 show, members were encouraged to share artwork connected to this year’s theme of “Pathways,” using an eclectic mix of mediums: painting, fiber, photography, ceramics, glass and woodwork — highlighting the breadth and depth of talent in the coastal arts community. From emerging artists to seasoned professionals, the show is a celebration of the people who make the center’s programs thrive.
The Members Show will be on display through November 2 at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, located at 540 NE Hwy. 101, open from 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. For more information, go to lincolncity-culturalcenter.org or call 541-994-9994.
