There’s no need to tip the two newest workers at Chinook Winds Casino Resort, just a tap will do.

Ketty and Holla are a pair of robots now at work in the resort: Kelly roaming the main casino floor delivering bottled water, while Holla assists in the Siletz Bay Buffet as a busser. Customers can get each robot to stop by just tapping their screen.

“We are excited to bring the Bots to Chinook Winds to assist our team members and guests,” said Monica Logan, director of food and beverage. “We look forward to exploring their additional abilities to help around the property.”

The Bots were produced by Pringle Robotics of Peoria, Illinois, which develops autonomous robotic solutions for delivery, room service, floor cleaning, disinfection and advertising purposes. The robots use the latest LIDAR technology to map out the environment around them, accounting for obstacles as they pop up. The Bots easily stop when the guest lightly touches the face to retrieve the desired item.

“Pringle Robotics is excited for our partnership with Chinook Winds Casino Resort to deploy robotic solutions that provide support to their staff and improve the guest experience,” said Pringle Robotics spokesman Gerald Prall. “Working with the Chinook Winds Casino Resort team has been a great experience and we are proud to be part of their vision for the future.”

Chinook Winds Casino Resort is located at 1777 NW 44th Street, Lincoln City.
