Fall colors won’t be the only thing filling Newport this Saturday, Oct. 3, when the Oregon Coast Chorus brings an evening of a cappella harmony to the Pacific Maritime Heritage Center.

“Harvest Harmony” will serve as both a concert and fund-raiser for the women’s chorus, with performances by area quartets as well as plenty happening beyond the stage.

Among the evening’s featured performers will be the internationally acclaimed Gusto! Quartet, which will give Newport audiences a preview of the package it will perform at international competition.

Filling out the program will be the Lifted, What 4 and That’s the Spirit quartets.

Guests can arrive early for small plates and beverages before settling in for the concert. The evening will also include a silent auction and a restaurant gift tree, offering additional ways to support the chorus.

The Oregon Coast Chorus is a chartered chapter of SingUnited International and a registered nonprofit organization.

Tickets are $20. Space is limited and advance ticket purchases are encouraged.

Saturday’s doors open at 4:30 pm, with the concert beginning at 6 pm at the Pacific Maritime Heritage Center, located at 333 SE Bay Blvd. in Newport.
