Pride in the Park (and after dark)
While Pride month is winding down, Lincoln City Pride is gearing up to present Pride in the Park this Saturday, June 27, with expanded entertainment and a full day of community festivities.
Presented by Lincoln City Parks & Recreation, the Lincoln City Cultural Center, Out in LC Together and Explore Lincoln City, the event will feature more than 70 vendors, a dozen musical acts, family activities, costumes, food and a beer garden.
The move to Schooner Creek Discovery Park marks a new chapter for the annual event. Pride in the Park will be the first major celebration to utilize the park's new stage, providing a fresh venue for performances and community gatherings while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that has helped the event grow each year.
Visitors can browse a wide variety of vendor booths featuring local businesses, artists, nonprofit organizations and community groups. Live entertainment will fill the stage throughout the day, creating a festival atmosphere that celebrates diversity, inclusion and self-expression.
The event is designed to be welcoming for all ages, with activities and attractions aimed at families as well as adults. A playground, ADA-accessible restrooms and water will be available on-site, making it easy for guests to spend the day enjoying the festivities.
Food options will be available nearby, while the beer garden will offer adults a place to relax and socialize. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Pride attire, costumes or colorful creations as the community gathers to celebrate together.
While Pride Month officially comes to a close at the end of June, Lincoln City's celebration serves as a reminder that the values of acceptance, visibility and community extend throughout the year. The event has become a popular gathering for residents and visitors, bringing together people from across the region for a day of entertainment, connection and celebration.
With live music, community organizations, local vendors and a scenic new venue, Pride in the Park promises to be one of Lincoln City's most colorful and energetic summer gatherings.
