Round up the family for the Bay City Pearl & Oyster Festival at Al Griffin Memorial Park this weekend.

On Saturday, Aug. 23, enjoy a lineup of tribute and local acts, along with arts, crafts, food and adult beverages.

Musical groups include the Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute Tombstone Shadows; local indie-pop quartet Hope Montgomery & The Invasive Species; Beastie Boys tribute band Grand Royale, a high-energy performance featuring three MCs and a four-piece band and DJ delivering a comprehensive Beasties experience; and Eagles tribute band Eagle Eyes, a Vancouver–based band known for their precise vocal harmonies and faithful renditions of Eagles favorites.

Sunday, Aug. 24, is kids’ day, with a pet parade, treasure hunts and performances by kids along with arts, crafts and food. Local teen band Tenebreus performs cover sounds of their favorite songs.

Prizes can be won for best costume at the Pet Parade and at the kids’ talent show.
