Friday July 3

Clovers Day Parade

Cloverdale

The cow-led parade at 11 am is the main attraction, but this fun day also features a petting zoo, ice cream stand, fun run, face painting and vendors aplenty. 10 am-2 pm.

 

Fireworks

Devils Lake • Lincoln City

The Devils Lake Neighborhood Association presents this 250th Independence Day celebration. 9:30 pm, viewable from East Devils Lake State Park and from Sandpoint Park.

 

Saturday, July 4

Pancake Breakfast

Gleneden Beach Community Hall

The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham or sausage, OJ and hot beverages. $10 for adults, $6 for kids aged six to 12. 8-10:30 am, 110 Azalea Street. FMI, go to glenedenbeach.org.

 

Vets, Pets & Pie

Lincoln City Community Center

Enter your best pie for judging and walk your pet in the pet parade. Best pies and pets will receive a prize. Veterans receive free entry to the community center all day, and a special gift. 10 am to noon, 2150 NE Oar Place.

 

Oceanside Independence Parade

Oceanside

Parade starts at 10 am featuring decorated wagons, tricycles, bicycles, strollers, roller skates, skate boarders, babies, kids, dogs, walkers, dancers, floats, boats and cars.

 

Parade and Fireworks  

Neskowin

The parade will begin at 10 am followed by a patriotic celebration at 11 am in the Proposal Rock Inn parking lot. Fireworks on the beach begin roughly at dusk.

 

Fourth of July Celebration

Waterfront Park • Toledo

Celebrate the 250th in style with live music, food trucks, family-friendly games and a free community raffle. 11 am to 5 pm, 127 NW A Street.

 

Parade and fireworks

Rockaway Beach

The parade begins at 11 am. Family fun events will begin at 1 pm. Fireworks will start at dusk.

 

Gleneden Beach Parade

Gleneden Beach Loop

A full day of fun, with local craft and food vendors, live music and the parade, featuring the US Coast Guard Color Guard and rescue helicopter flyover leading a line of classic cars, trucks, fire engines, horses, scouts, cheerleaders, clowns, floats and the ever-popular passing out of treats. Festivities begin at 11 am, parade starts at 1 pm followed by live music until 4 pm.

 

Stars, Stripes, and Wildlife Celebration

Taft Park • Lincoln City

An afternoon of live music from Ska Island and Hecktic Week, local food, a beer garden by Pelican Brewing Company and interactive activities including wildlife education with Seven Capes Bird Alliance and Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative. Noon to 5 pm, west end of SW 51st Street.

 

Firecracker Weiner Dog Races

Phyllis Baker Park • Rockaway Beach

Wiener dog races, vendor booths and a hot dog barbecue. Proceeds go to support the Tillamook County Animal Shelter. 1 pm, 360 N Coral Street.

Parade

Manzanita 

A fun-filled hometown parade with marching bands, giant crabs and dancing librarians, the Manzanita Parade is fun for all. The parade begins at 1 pm at Division and Laneda.

Yachats

This famously quirky parade featuring creative, people-powered entries highlighting the heart and humor of the community begins at noon on Ocean View Drive. The fireworks show will begin at sundown over the mouth of the Yachats River.

Yachats Commons

Celebrate Independence Day with live music, a community barbecue and a beer garden hosted by Pelican Brewing Company and View the Future, plus a bounce house, yard games, dunk tank and concessions. Bounce house admission is $10 all day or $5 per hour. 1 to 8 pm,  441 Hwy. 101 N.

 

Fourth of July Concert

Newport Middle School

The Newport Symphony Orchestra and music director Adam Flatt will present music by John Williams, Aaron Copland, Bill Conti, Samuel Ward, Dave Robertson and John Philip Sousa. Free. 4 pm, 825 NE 7th Street.

 

4th of July Jamboree

Pacific Maritime Heritage Center • Newport

Live music, pies, family crafts and rooftop viewing of the fireworks. 7:30 to 10:30 pm, 333 SE Bay Blvd.

 

Fireworks Celebration

Yaquina Bay • Newport

The fireworks display will launch over Yaquina Bay from the west end of the Port of Newport’s International Terminals beginning at 10 pm.

Devils Lake • Lincoln City

Fireworks over the lake at dusk, visible from numerous viewing locations including East Devils Lake State Park and Regatta Park. Free shuttle from Lincoln City Community Center to Regatta Park from 7 pm-1 am.
