INHOUSE Jazz will continue the current season with a concert hosted by vocalist Annie Averre, with bassist and composer Bob Bowman, pianist David Morganroth and drummer M. Todd Strait this Sunday, July 23.

The featured musician for this concert, Bowman has been delighting INHOUSE audiences for several summers. Expect jazz standards, originals, lots of interaction, humor and above all depth of friendships among musicians and the audience.

Bowman joined the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra in 1976, touring and recording several albums including the Grammy award-winning “Live in Munich.” He continued his performing and recording career by joining the Toshiko Akiyoshi-Lew Tabakin Big Band in Los Angeles in 1979, performing on albums also nominated for Grammy awards. He has toured and recorded with many artists including the legendary Carmen McRae, Freddie Hubbard, Bud Shank and many others. He currently lives in Montana and travels back and forth between Los Angeles and the midwest annually to perform and record.
