Foraging and nature-inspired printmaking are among the hands-on experiences coming to Neskowin Valley School as its new Wild Coast Beyond adult and family education program continues on Saturday, Nov. 7.
Led by local artists, naturalists and educators, the program welcomes people from throughout the Oregon Coast to learn, create and connect on the school’s Neskowin campus.
November’s offerings begin with “Fall Foraging, Mushrooms & More,” led by Adam Sawyer. Later in the month, Sepha Nisbet will lead “Printing with Nature” on Saturday, Nov. 21.
The program aims to make the campus a gathering place for lifelong learners, with opportunities to explore the natural world and try creative activities together.
Saturday’s foraging class runs from 10 to 11:30 am at Neskowin Valley School, located at 10005 Slab Creek Road. For more information about upcoming classes and the Wild Coast Beyond program, go to neskowinvalleyschool.com.
