Harvest festival brings harmony to Neskowin

For 45 years, fall in Neskowin has meant music, food, cider and a community gathering that has become nearly as much a part of the season as changing leaves.

Neskowin Valley School will celebrate the return of its annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, Oct. 3.

The festival will feature live local music, artisan vendors, seasonal food, a beer garden, raffle prizes and a cider press, along with kids’ activities and creations made by Neskowin Valley School students.

Beyond the festivities, the day offers a chance to explore the campus and learn more about the small independent school and its emphasis on connecting students with nature, community and one another through hands-on, creative learning.

The Harvest Festival is also the school’s largest annual fund-raiser, with proceeds supporting teachers, programs and educational experiences throughout the year.
