Gagglers welcome at Yachats Farm Tour

Mark your calendars and fuel up your car — the beloved Yachats River Valley Farm Tour returns with the 15th annual celebration of local farms, handmade goods and the people who make the valley grow this Saturday, Aug. 9.

The free, self-guided tour invites locals and visitors to wander “up river” along the Yachats River Road and its north and south forks, discovering the rich agricultural life tucked into this stunning coastal landscape. From cactus to teapots, tomatoes to soap, the valley is brimming with treasures — and stories — waiting to be shared.

“The Farm Tour is more than a market, it’s a way to connect,” said Ann Jensen of River Wind Farm, a founding participant. “Every gate you walk through leads to something beautiful: hardworking hands, fresh food, clean air and a sense of community that’s rare these days.”

Six farms and nurseries will open their gates, offering produce, plants, pottery, soap and baked goods for sale.

The tour runs from 9 am to 2 pm. For more information, go to YachatsFarmTour.com
