Free Fourth of July Community Concert

It’s one of the noisiest holidays of the year, but thanks to the Newport Symphony Orchestra, you can still find some beautiful music at the annual Free Fourth of July Community Concert this Friday, July 4. 

Returning to wow the crowd with her wondrous singing voice, Oregon’s own Miss America, Katie Harman Ebner, will bring the great American songbook to life. 

Composers on deck include Gershwin, Ellington, Cohan, Bernstein and more, even some Sousa to make sure your heart swells with pride. There may even be an extra surprise or two.
