Throughout Newport

Today’s fun starts at 9 am at the bayfront with the Survival Suit Races and the Blessing of the Fleet at 11 am, followed by the Newport Fishermen’s Wives barbecue at 1 pm at the International Terminal, 1510 SE Bay Blvd. A memorial service, remembering Lincoln County fishermen who were lost at sea, will be held at the Fishermen’s Memorial Sanctuary at Yaquina Bay State Park at 4 pm.
