Holiday shopping already? How bazaar!
Nearly 70 artisans from the Pacific Northwest will be showing their wares at the 15th Annual Harvest & Holidays arts and crafts festival in Yachats on Saturday, Nov. 3, and Sunday, Nov. 4.
The free event, organized by Crafts on the Coast will take place inside Yachats Commons from 10 am-4 pm both days.
Items on offer at the juried event include gourmet foods, fine art, jewelry clothing wood, metal, fabric, paper and glass art, bath and body products and candles.
As well as vendors, the festival features craft demonstrations, free gourmet food tastings and face painting.
More than half the participants in the festival are from Lincoln County, including: Virginia and David Moffitt, scroll saw puzzles and toys; Rose Estes, up-cycled vintage saris and kimonos into jackets and wraps; Ron and Jill Bauer, hand-carved walking sticks and accessories; Jean O’Hearn, fun jewelry; Janice Hoffman, agate lamps and fountains; Karen Hendrickson, national award-winning scratchboard artist; Linda Davlin, fine hand knit caps; Violet Young, original art coloring books, calendars and Joy Sphere Treasure Balls; Paddy Pace, music boxes; Barry Campbell, fine-turned wood functional art; Pam Parker, fine art in watercolor, acrylic and pyrography; Nicole Loxley, hand-made leather craft; Larry & Linda Addison, hand blended spices and teas; Sharron Brown, Fog Wash Soap; Jennifer Kopp, Luv’n Salsa; Donna McCoy, marine photography; Ann Mills, country crafts; Anja Chavez, award-winning fine beaded jewelry and dog treats; Ray Degele, Depoe Baykery; Cheri Aldrich, award-winning mixed media art; Sally Graves Jennings, embellished silk velvet scarves and hand felted pins; Lyle and Arlene Gowing, loomed rugs and hand-spun yarn; and Gatlin Andrews, creative contemporary photographic art.

St. Joseph's, in Cloverdale
The 16th annual TCF Holiday Bazaar will take place on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3, at the Tillamook County Fairgrounds, 4603 E. 3rd Street, Tillamook. As well as almost 70 crafters and vendors, the bazaar will feature handmade goods, Christmas décor and more, along with a snack bar provided by the Tillamook County Fair Board. The event runs from noon-6 pm on Friday and 10 am-5 pm on Saturday.
St Joseph’s Church in Cloverdale will hold its 52nd Annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9am to 4 pm. Hand-crafted gifts, ornaments, and decorations will be available, along with cookies, cakes, breads, and candy all homemade to special recipes.
The church’s famous hot cinnamon rolls and secret recipe sauerkraut and polish dogs will be served. St. Joseph’s, at 34560 Parkway Drrive, is easy to find in Cloverdale. Just look for the little white church with the tall steeple one block off Hwy. 101.
Your Little Beach Town Christmas Craft Fair will run from Dec. 1 to Dec. 2 in the lobby at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda from 9 am-4 pm both days. The fair will feature hand-crafted gifts baked goods, quilts, ornaments, lotions, hats, scarves and lots more. All this plus free coffee, cider and hot chocolate to take the chill off. St. Peter the Fisherman Lutheran Church will hold its holiday bazaar on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3, at the church building, Hwy. 101 and SW 14th Street, across from the Tanger Outlet Center. There will be a bake sale and treasure room, quilts and crafts and raffle drawings. The event will run from 10 am-4 pm on Friday and 10 am-3 pm on Saturday, with lunch from 11 am-2 pm each day. The Congregational Church will hold its holiday bazaar on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-10, at the church building, 1760 NW 25th Street, behind Kenny’s IGA north. The event will feature baked goods, vendor tables, a raffle and silent auction items. It will run from 10 am-4 pm on Friday and 10 am-3 pm with lunch served both days from 11 am-2 pm.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s Annual Holiday Bazaar & Luncheon is set for Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 am to 3 pm. Luncheon, featuring soups, sandwiches, Asian fare and dessert, will be served from 10:30 am to 2 pm. The bazaar will include a silent auction, raffle, country store, book nook, jewelry booth, cookie walk and more. Sacred Heart is located at 927 North Coast Hwy. in Newport.
