Neskowin Valley School will hold its 36th Annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, Oct. 6, with food, games and artisan crafts all on offer against a backdrop of live music from eight bands throughout the day.
The festival is held on the beautiful Neskowin Valley campus located at 10005 Slab Creek Road, just south of the village of Neskowin.
Running from 10 am to 5:30 pm, the event will feature an outdoor market where local farmers and artisans will offer produce, fresh-pressed apple cider and artisan crafts. Great food will be available for purchase at the Slab Creek Grill and the Bakery Café, while a beer garden will serve up craft beer provided by Rusty Truck Brewing and Pelican Brewing.
Eight live bands will provide the soundtrack to the day, performing both inside and outdoors.
And a silent auction will give guests the chance to pick from the 100 items donated by local businesses and valued at more than $10,000.
The Harvest Festival is the biggest fundraising event of the year for this independent school, which offers preschool through eighth grade education.
“We’ve received overwhelming support this year with six sponsors coming alongside the school to make this our best fundraising event yet.” said head of school Kelly Ellis. “Kiwanda Coastal Properties, Shae Lambert of Shorepine Properties, Floro Farms, Oregon Coast Bank, Pelican Brewing, and Chinook Winds Casino Resort are all leading our sponsorships this year. We are so appreciative of their support.”
