Tickets are still available for the Angel’s Ball, which will transform Lincoln City’s Chinook Winds Casino Resort into a winter wonderland on Saturday, Dec. 1.
The event, the largest annual fundraiser from Angels Anonymous, will treat guests to an evening of dinner and dancing, with live rock ‘n roll from Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts.
Guests will also get to admire the Festival of Trees, a selection of trees artfully decorated and donated by local businesses and community members. Each tree comes complete with a raft of gifts, often valued at several thousand dollars. At the end of the evening, all the trees will be auctioned off, along with a selection of seasonal wreaths.
For those hoping to scope out the offerings ahead of time, the Festival of Trees will be available to view from noon to 6 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 28; noon to 8 pm Thursday and Friday; and 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, Dec. 1. St. Nick will make an appearance from 4 to 6 pm Friday, Nov. 30 to hear Christmas wishes.
The Angels Ball itself will start at 4:30 pm on Saturday, offering the chance to dress up for an elegant evening on the town.
Tickets, priced at $75, include passed hors d’ oeuvres, plated dinner with choice of entrée, live entertainment, dancing and the auction of the Festival of Trees. Tickets can be purchased at the Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce located at 4039 NW Logan Road, call 541-994-3070; or from Angels Anonymous at 503-489-8743.
Angels Anonymous provides immediate and basic assistance to those in need in the greater North Lincoln County area. In 2017, the group dispersed more than $55,000 and assisted 48 families.
