If watching people riot over cheap TVs on Black Friday makes you yearn to connect with humanity’s better nature, keep a space in your diary on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
That’s when the Giving Tuesday Generosity Bazaar will return to the Lincoln City Cultural Center for a third year of boosting local charity endeavors.
This one-stop giving destination features booths staffed by a host of local nonprofits, service clubs and student groups, all raising money for good causes in Lincoln City and providing all the donation receipts your accountant could ever want, all under one roof.
Organizations confirmed for attendance at this year’s event include the American Association of University Women, Backpacks for Kids, Driftwood Library Foundation, Family Promise, FOLCAS, Central Coast Humane Society, Lincoln City Homeless Solutions, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Advisory Group, Lincoln City Resource Center & Emergency Warming Shelter, Oregon Coast Community College, Posh Wash Laundromat, Scout Pack 47, Taft Pioneer Cemetery, Theatre West and Traveling Tigers.
The Giving Tuesday Generosity Bazaar will run from 9 am to 3 pm in the auditorium of the cultural center at 540 NE Hwy. 101.
