Homemade goodies and wonderful prizes will be on offer in Lincoln City this Friday, June 15, when the Father’s Day Bake Sale returns to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital.
Organized by the hospital auxiliary, this fund-raising sale is held in the cafeteria and runs from 7 am until the goodies are gone, which could be early in the day because there will be an irresistible array of pies, pastries, cookies, cakes and more.
The auxiliary will also host a raffle at the bake sale with two great prizes. The Wagon of Wonder, valued at $500, is loaded with items sure to please any father, including a Coach wallet, popcorn, badminton set, games and more. The Beach Getaway, valued at $400, includes a one-night stay at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda, a $50 gift card to Pelican Brewing plus other Pelican Pub swag.
Tickets, available during the bake sale or in advance, are a dollar apiece, seven for $5 or 15 for $10.
Proceeds from the raffle and bake sale are earmarked for the purchase of medical equipment for the hospital.
The hospital is located at 3043 NE 28th Street.
