Guests at a Saturday, May 20, fund-raising dinner in Lincoln City will get to slurp up spaghetti while helping to support their local community emergency response team.

The dinner, running from 3 to 7 pm at St. Peter the Fisherman Lutheran Church, will benefit North Lincoln County CERT, which trains community volunteers to assist first responders and neighbors in the event of emergencies. Members, located throughout the community, are trained in first aid and CPR, search and rescue, and a variety of skills to render aid when needed.

The dinner costs $10 for adults or $6 for children aged 10 and under. A raffle will also be held, with prizes from vendors and supporters throughout the community.

The church is located at 1226 SW 13th Street.
