Farmers market season is heating up on the Oregon Coast. And nowhere is that more evident than in Gleneden Beach, where the Gleneden Harvest Market will kick off on Thursday, May 25, with a fire dancing performance.
Running from 11 am to 4 pm at the Side Door Café/Eden Hall, the market offers shoppers the chance to connect with local growers of fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, meats, fresh seafood and specialty products made locally such as caramels, canned pickles, garlic, jellies, jams and gluten-free items. Guests can also check out a range of handmade goods including essential oils, soaps, jewelry, photography and hand stitchery.
Local musicians will be performing weekly and some of Oregon’s best wines will be available to sample.
The market will run every Thursday through mid September at the Side Door Café/Eden Hall, 6675 Gleneden Beach Loop.
“We invite gardeners, producers, artists, photographers, bakers, woodworkers, jewelers, musicians and other talented individuals to join us during this season’s market,” said Side Door Café owner Brooke Price.
