Registration is now open for a botanical drawing workshop led by natural science illustrator Dorota Haber-Lehigh in Manzanita on Saturday, Dec. 1.

Aimed at adult participants of all skill levels, the session will focus on drawing from nature while being inspired by changing seasons. Students will experiment with new techniques, study botanical accuracy and explore the importance of self-expression.

Haber-Lehigh holds degrees in Art, Indigenous Studies, Spanish and Education and has authored two ethnobotanical coloring books. She is currently working on a diploma in Botanical Illustration through the Society of Botanical Artists in London.

The workshop will run from noon to 4 pm at the Hoffman Center for the Arts, 594 Laneda Avenue. Tuition is $45.

To register, or for details on supplies, email Haber-Lehigh at dorota@iinet.com.
