Globally recognized quintet The American Chamber Players will be the latest group to showcase their skills at the Salon Series from the Siletz Bay Music Festival this Saturday, Oct. 6

The group began in 1985 as a core group of artists of The Library of Congress Summer Chamber Festival. Since then, they have established themselves as one of the most engaging and innovative chamber music ensembles around.

The ensemble’s repertoire ranges from familiar masterpieces to neglected gems to newly commissioned American works. Their fascinating and delightful programs with varied instrumental combinations have received just as much effusive praise as their extraordinary, dynamic performances.

The group will perform from 3 to 5 pm in the new Recital Hall at Taft High School, 3780 SE Spyglass Ridge Drive, Lincoln City.

Refreshments will be created and served by the Taft High School Culinary Club. Tickets, $30, are available online at www.siletzbaymusic.org or by calling 541-992-1131.
