Amble down for the ramblers

The soothing sounds of bluegrass will drift across Devils Lake on Thursday, June 21, as the Slocan Ramblers perform a free evening concert at Lincoln City’s Regatta Park.

Based in Toronto, the Slocan Ramblers are Canada’s bluegrass band to watch. Rooted in tradition, fearlessly creative and possessing a bold, dynamic sound, the band has become a leading light in the acoustic music scene. With a reputation for energetic live shows and impeccable musicianship, the Slocans have been winning over audiences from Merlefest to RockyGrass and everywhere in between.

The band features Frank Evans on banjo, Adrian Gross on mandolin, Darryl Poulsen on guitar and Alastair Whitehead on bass.

The June 21 concert will start at 6 pm in the gazebo at Regatta Park, located just off NE 14th Street.
