Toledo’s Trinity United Methodist Church is inviting everyone to a festive benefit concert for the Olalla Center for Children and Families on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The concert, “Carols and Cares,” will feature the Coastal-Aires Barbershop Chorus and other local musicians performing a wide range of fun holiday music for the whole family.
The performance will be followed by a reception and light refreshments.
The concert will start at 6:30 pm at the church, 383 NE Beech Street across from the JC Market.
Admission is by suggested donation of $10 or $7 with a canned food donation to the Toledo Food Pantry.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards building improvements for the Olalla Center, which works to identify, understand, manage and eventually heal the emotional lives of local children.
“Our children are critical to the overall health of our community,” said Trinity pastor Rev. Ryan Scott. “If we do not have healthy children we cannot have a healthy community and mental health is imperative to the overall health of our children.”
