Catch some color in Lincoln City

Depoe Bay painter Catherine Hingson is the Featured Artist throughout July at the Pacific Artists’ Co-op Gallery in Lincoln City, showcasing a collection titled “Colorful.”

A fifth-generation Oregonian, Hingson has with deep ties to the coast, which influences her artistic expression.

“I love the Northwest and the beautiful landscapes we have here,” she said. “I feel like I’m on vacation all the time because the Oregon Coast is such an amazing and magical place. My paintings are infused with bold, vibrant color and often have a playful feeling embedded.”

Hingson’s work, along with pieces from some 30 other gallery members, are on display daily from 10 am to 5 pm at 620 NE Hwy. 101, the corner of 6th Avenue, right across the street from the Lincoln City Cultural Center,
