The Artists’ Co-op Gallery in Lincoln City will celebrate spring and all things new in a “Breeding Season” reception this Friday, April 13.
Running from 5 to 7 pm, the reception will offer light refreshments, live music and the chance to see artist demonstrations.
Pam Young will be demonstrating her techniques for creating rare and whimsical clay pieces. From vases to backyard plaques to tea pot sets, coffee cups and more, she allows her spirit of humor to come through in the most amusing and unique ways. In the spirit of Breeding Season theme, Young will be creating pairs of her whimsical birds.
Guests will also be able to see a demonstration of intaglio engraving by Sarah Bolerjack, whose
love affair with the Renaissance began at the age of seven, sparked by the old dusty books of a small library in Kansas.
Guitarist Dave Waite will be on hand to provide a backdrop of upbeat folk rock.
Meanwhile, next door at Beachstone Gallery, members of the Artist Studio Association will be offering demonstrations and refreshments for their “New Beginnings” reception.
The Artists’ Co-op Gallery is located at 620 NE Hwy. 101, directly opposite the Lincoln City Cultural Center.
