Bounty on the Bay

This two-day event, a fund-raiser for the Tillamook Estuaries Partnership, kicks off at the Old Mill clubhouse with a hearty buffet-style pasta dinner followed with angling seminars by local pro guides. TEP then hosts a spring chinook fishing tournament on Saturday, featuring a great day on the bay, fishing prizes donated by our generous sponsors, and an opportunity to hire one of several local guides who donate their proceeds to TEP salmon habitat enhancement efforts. Trash Bash
Cart’m Recycling • Nehalem
This art-themed potluck is a celebration of Cart’m Recycling, the nonprofit that operates the local “dump” as well as a recycling center. Aquarium Classes for Children
Oregon Coast Aquarium • Newport
Today, the aquarium will host two classes for the youngest marine biologists. At 10:30 a.m., children ages 2 and 3 can bring their parents to “Sea Squirts: Terrific Touch” ($15 members, $20 nonmembers, for one adult/child pair). Law Enforcement and TLC Mustangs Cruise-in
Tillamook
The North Oregon Coast Law Enforcement, along with TLC Mustangs and Fords Club, will host the annual cruise-in on the streets of Tillamook. The event supports Special Olympics and the Law Enforcement Torch Run, but you’ll be dazzled by the great bikes and cars that roar into town. Tonight at 6 p.m., they’ll be in downtown Tillamook. Mutt Masters Olympics and Dog Show

Auditions: ‘Kindly Leave the Stage’

Theatre West will be looking for talent once again when they hold auditions for their summer production of  “Kindly Leave the Stage”, a comedy by John Chapman.  Director Stina Seeger-Gibson is looking for both men and women for this comedy, which will play from July 10 through Aug. 30.
