Chinook Winds Casino Resort will be ringing in the New Year with two days of free parties in Lincoln City, inviting guests to take a step back in time to the golden age of disco with its Studio 18 theme.

And whether you chose to dress up or come as you are, you’ll be certain to find a party just for you, starting on Saturday, Dec. 30, with DJ Metal in the Chinook Winds Convention Center at 9 pm and rock from Mr. B in Chinook’s Seafood Grill at 10 pm. Both parties are free for guests aged 21 and over.

On Sunday, Dec. 31, party band Top Shelf will get the New Year’s Eve celebrations going with dance music in the convention center from 9 pm to 1:30 am. DJ Metal will return to spin songs from 10 pm until 2 am in the showroom, with the option to buy a midnight Champagne toast. Guests can also party at Chinook’s Seafood Grill with the popular Beth Willis Rock Duo starting at 10 pm. And even more music can be found at Aces Sports Bar & Grill at Chinook Winds Golf Resort starting at 10 pm, with a performance from the always-popular Ty Curtis Band. All parties are free and include hats and favors.

Starting at 1 pm, the casino will offer the chance to win big with New Year’s Eve Bingo, featuring more than $50,000 in payouts and $15,000 in cash drawings. 26 winners will receive $500, while one lucky player will be drawn for $2,018 in cash or free slot play. The buy-in is $100 until 10 pm on Saturday, Dec. 30. Door buy-ins on New Year’s Eve are $125.

Each night, the casino will hold drawings to win one of two Chevy Corvette Stingrays. Complete rules and details of how to earn entries can be found at www.chinookwindscasino.com or at Chinook Winds Player Services.

While grownups party at the resort, kids can enjoy the Chinook Winds Play Palace and Arcade dressed as their favorite candy. The party is for children three to 11 years old who are fully potty-trained. The fun runs from 5 pm to 1 am and admission is $40 for eight hours, $30 for six hours and $20 for four hours, with meals for an additional $4.50. Admission includes a sparkling cider toast at midnight, fun prizes and photos from 6 to 8 pm. Reservations are highly recommended. Children 12 and older are welcome in the arcade.
