The Audubon Society of Lincoln City will offer birders the chance to wet their beaks with an excursion along the Salmon River Estuary this Saturday, Nov. 10.

The free birdwatching clinic will see participants keep their eyes peeled for wintering birds in woodlands and marsh habitats as well as along the river itself.

The walk is part of a series of birding tours led by Audubon field trip leaders in partnership with Lincoln City Parks and Recreation and Explore Lincoln City. No registration is required and beginning birders are welcome. Binoculars and guidebooks are provided for those who need them

The group will meet at 9 am in the parking lot of Knight Park. To get there, travel north from Lincoln City on Highway 101, take a left on Three Rocks Road continue for 2.4 miles to Knight Park.
